Flow House Xscape Yorkshire
The first Flow House in the world opened it's doors in May 2010. Located in rural Bedfordshire on an adventure site with the worlds largest wind tunnel, a 125ft simulated BASE jump, driving simulation room and health club. The venue itself is situated on an old MOD site and was the perfect location to test this fantastic surf environment.
In late 2010 Flow House began negotiations with X-leisure with a view to install a Flow House at Xscape Yorkshire. We are happy to say that this is now a reality and Flow House Xscape Yorkshire is here.
Located at the rear of Xscape Yorkshire the addition of Flow House will compliment the board sports already present in the centre in the form of the SNO!zone and Skate park.
The venue itself will be an environment that blends the laid back surf culture of the beaches with the upbeat and vibrant feeling of Bars and homely feel of the kitchen.
For when the beach is out of reach, Flow House is the urban lifestyle venue, where you can ride the waves, shop, eat and party all under one roof.
A destination for all board sport enthusiasts. At the heart of every Flow House is the FlowRider ® sheet wave attraction, which simulates a fast moving wave. Whether you surf, skate, wake or even snowboard, the FlowRider is a great place to express your own unique flavor of riding.
If you've never ridden before, no problem! With it's patented Composite Membrane Ride Surface (CMRS), the FlowRider is a great way to learn to ride in a safe and controlled environment.
Along with flowriding, Flow House also features bars, restaurants, music, entertainment, retail and more, so even if you don't ride it's a great place to hang out with friends.
